I refuse to be fit in a box you are choosing in your mind
For the last 5.5 years I have felt at times that adhdcoached was me and I was adhdcoached.
That is not healthy or sustainable. My shift happened as my relationship to my adhd changed. One that wasn’t only about identity but also distance. A distance that was made possible through privilege but also my surroundings.
I needed reminders from my community that I could also pursue many other things, be creative, volunteer in other space, etc.
I did not just have to be living and breathing in the adhd space and I know that many who have been diagnosed and or work in the space feel exactly the same. But this has required a lot of support and a position that has allowed me to do so.
Now, I find the joys again in learning new things such as learning & development, collage making, writing,…
