I think we too often want a coach to be inspiring to us, that is not our job and it’s probably why it’s so impactful
Too often people nowadays, look for inspiration. It’s why we get so hooked on social media, if only I could live their life. That works until the person disappoints or you realise that it’s about you figuring out what you want, what you need, what you value,… . It’s why coaches were never suppose to be inspirational people or give advice, it’s why it feels and is so transformative.
Personally, as a coach, I don’t think there is much more to say then that I have trained for 3 different coaching degrees (all accredited, because certification alone means nothing), I’ve worked in intense corporate/start-up spaces, I am doing a HR L&D degree at this very moment and I am hyper specialised at understanding how these elements overlap our social/personal/home life.
My life is absolutely amazing, for the values and wishes I have. Great community, strong health and daily activities, hobbies, laughter, dogs, safe home and a super exciting career expansion.
I am an accredited coach at ICF and I’ve worked with hundreds of professionals across industries. (specifically the middle to big sized corporates and start-ups + creative industry leaders)
Coaching people entering their first careers, to people getting promoted to lead/manager roles, to c-level and founders. My speciality lies in the ability to open a space of creating self-trust. A space where you get challenged, heard and understood. A space where a diagnosis is an informing lens, not an identity or excuse.
You make forward movement after exploring your past movements with therapeutic support. We work together, I do not give advice, I open a space of exploration and that seems to impact many for a lot longer. Aiming for interdependence, instead of codependence.
10 years of diagnosis, 7 years of receiving coaching at different chapters with different coaches, 5.5 years of coaching others, advising and coaching in some of the top companies around the world.
Those do not make me a good coach, it’s about being the right coach that is key.
You finding the right fit is about the right coaching space for now. I take your whole life, your health, your surroundings, your work, your relationships, your friendships and more into account with my strange Irish/European accent.
I am not for everyone but feel free to hear me talk and write about my ethos here. If it resonates, reach out, if it doesn’t, it was lovely meeting you and find other coaches here.
