What clients say

“ The magic and sparkle that Astrid has brought to my new found ADHD brain is truly invaluable. I think the biggest thing that Astrid has helped me discover is an ability to work with my brain and not against it. Being diagnosed at 45 was at first a relief but then became almost a burden. I often asked myself ‘Was I better off not knowing?’. I read every book, listened to every podcast, and tuned into every TiKTok available but nothing ever 'really' made me feel like I was really and truly understanding what it was and how to ‘be’ with it. Not only that but everyone's ADHD is so personal, right, so how could all this general info really get to the heart of what it actually meant for me?
Astrid has given me, and continues giving me, the freedom to talk about my ADHD in whatever form that appears day to day and permission to just say words that I wouldn’t normally feel I could say to anyone else, who doesn’t understand the diagnosis and what that means every single damn minute of the day! She has made me see the possibilities that no book will ever give me. She is THE book! She’s also a beautiful, positive and incredible human being which just makes every session a very special and lovely space to hang out in. “

“I work as a software engineer, and was diagnosed with ADHD this year at 42 years old after a lifetime of struggling with memory, focus and organisation. Astrid is an absolute delight to work with - she's friendly and very positive, and incredibly knowledgeable about ADHD. She helped me see the diagnosis in a positive light, and to put some organizational practices into place. She also coached me through the conversation I had disclosing my ADHD to my manager which went really well, we agreed on a new set of responsibilities that played to my strengths.

I'm quite moved reflecting on how far I've come working with you. Thank you for everything :) “

Astrid helped me enormously over a three month period. I had recently been diagnosed with ADHD and felt lost so I turned to Astrid for guidance and to help me better understand ADHD and how it affects my brain. Most importantly she helped me to change my own negative narrative and perceptions surrounding ADHD and she helped me to dig down and really look at things and not take everything at face value. We worked through exercises which we then discussed together on our weekly call ensuring that I remained engaged and focused. She gave me the motivation to do the next tasks, and also helped me identify and prioritise what those tasks were. Astrid helped me to truly understand what I was seeking and to help me search for those answers as opposed to ‘spoon feeding’ me. She gave me the tools to better understand myself. We created a daily schedule which allowed me to structure and organise my day. Otherwise, whole days could pass where I would be completely and utterly useless and unproductive.

Astrid helped me to feel more confident in my decision-making and realising my true potential. For the last 32 years I have been unsure of myself and always doubted myself. She helped me to ‘let go’ and embrace everything by understanding my own self.

Astrid was warm, kind and understanding and I felt that I could and can still reach out to her. She’s a wonderful person with a true flare for helping people with ADHD.

'Working with Astrid has been a game changer on so many levels. I had the goal of creating a business to deliver services for my community, but due to neurodiversity have always struggled to take steps towards a task consistently.

Checking in every month gave me the motivation to do the next tasks, and also helped me identify and prioritise what those tasks were. Astrid’s knowledge of neurodiversity, business and marketing also helped me to see new perspectives on my project.

Aside from the practical, Astrid is such a warm and friendly person, due to her enthusiasm and genuine care I felt that someone was rooting for me to succeed.

1 year later my business structures are set up, I have a space, and I am offering regular services as well as community workshops. 100% recommend Astrid to any ND person looking for support!'

“Working with Astrid has had such a wonderful impact on my life. I feel more confident and capable. I have a kit full of coping strategies and ways to manage my life/work. Thanks to the work I did with Astrid I was able to achieve my goal of increasing neurodiversity awareness and do a talk in front of 75 people at the University I work at. I've also helped set up a Neurodiversity Network of which I am a co-chair. For the first time I feel more positive about work and able to create a career path I feel passionate about. Thank you!”

“Astrid has a genuine talent for understanding messy ADHD brains, for connecting, for guiding and for giving people the space to grow.

She has helped me to understand myself so much better than I thought possible, helped me to understand how my ADHD fits into my daily struggles and left me with lifelong tools.

Astrid has given me the space and helped to change the direction of my life. I achieved or made massive progress toward all of the goals I set at the start of my coaching journey. I’m so glad I made the decision to work with Astrid.”

“I now feel more confident in my decision-making and realising my true potential. Learning to trust my instincts has been the most valuable lesson during my coaching with Astrid. It’s had such a huge impact on my self-confidence and overall well-being and it wasn’t until I started my coaching sessions that I realised this was my ultimate goal. Astrid was alongside me every step of the way, always listening, empathetic and encouraging.”

“Astrid changed my life by helping me change my life. Time now fits in to two categories: Before Astrid and After Astrid.

Before Astrid = chaos, After Astrid = order.

I would urge anyone that wants coaching to work with Astrid, but if you want to know a little more about my experience as coachee feel free to connect! More than happy to chat.”

‘Astrid helped me to embrace my gloriously messy ADHD brain’

“While I had been adjusting to my ADHD and sporadically researching and trying to implement coping plans. However, the coaching session has allowed me to think about and approach my ADHD in a holistic way and make the process more realistic. The process has allowed me to centralise my approach and break down several areas where I am affected by my ADHD and find practical steps to cope and work it. It has allowed to be more reflective and maintain momentum when it comes to working on my condition, as previously it was easy to lose control, enthusiasm and accountability. It was also cathartic and encouraging to discuss my challenges with someone who also has ADHD. It's been genuinely transformational.”

“I feel Invinsible”

“I don’t know how it happens, but every time I leave a session I feel amazing. Astrid helps me to both implement strategies and new ones. But she also lets me have an ADHD brain dump, which always leads to deep insights”

‘It has enabled me to understand more about the impact ADHD has on different situations’

“I found I was able to accept myself more. My rhythms, my strengths. To remember my values. To feel deeply understood and accepted for who I am. The variety! Filling out the forms, doing the tests, looking at the graphs, being able to talk things out and through, having these shorter check-ins.”

Helping me to organize my priorities around work and life, as well as helping me outsmart my procrastination! I’m learning to love myself as I am, and I’m learning to be proud of how my brain works rather than ashamed or apologetic for struggles with neurotypical tasks or expectations. I’m not just learning who I am, but I’m feeling empowered to BE who I am. Therapy might help me work on finding myself but coaching with Astrid is helping me to embrace living as myself.

“I really did not know what to expect for my first coaching session. All I can say is it was one of the best things I have ever done. Astrid made me feel so comfortable in the space I truly felt listened to and was able to bring my authentic self to every session. I love the way that she let me just talk and talk and talk and then bring me back to a focus point. She so helped me with my dyslexic or should we say my neurodiversity mind (I am normal). She will always be my place to come to when my sponge on steroids appears. Astrid your are the best. I would like to say a big thank you for your kindness, warmth and presence during our sessions you are exactly the right coach for me.“

Jennifer - Professional, mom, and so much more

“Coming from my situation I felt that my life could easily have gone in a completely different direction without the coaching. It's what I needed to find new purpose and energise, motivate and mobilise myself.”

Entrepreneur

“Do it! It’s a safe space with someone who understands how you see the world, or at least speaks the same brain language as neurodivergents, when the overwhelming majority of people in the world are operating from an understanding of the world that has always stressed us out because the world is geared toward neurotypical strengths and perspectives. It’s like how Disney World is heaven for an ADHD Brain, coaching with Astrid is like meeting Cinderella at Disney. Same worlds”

“Finally all the pieces of my childhood and subsequent struggles began to fit. I finally understood why I had never fully met my potential. Astrid gave me a number of helpful strategies to try which I quickly implemented in improving my positivity, goals and purpose. I will always be grateful to Astrid for this life changing moment. Although completely sceptical at first, I quickly became to look forward to my coaching sessions. Astrid was so easy to talk to I felt a connection instantly. The only way I can describe Coaching with Astrid was like sitting down with my mum talking through all of my fears, worries and dreams. It was such an empowering, enriching experience. I would highly recommend Astrid as an life Coach.”

“It's given me a ton of confidence to face my challenges and a lot of optimism that I can work with them (and not against them). It's been wonderful. There have been a couple of key moments in finding certain ideals to focus on, compassion, acceptance, etc. They have been playing a key role in my day-to-day.”

“What I love about coaching is, although you have an idea of an outcome you want to achieve, what transpires is a much more fulfilling 'journey' through your mind/body/heart and someone gets to witness that with you and that's priceless! I still can't get over the have to/want to-do list - that is a massive highlight! It's so simple yet profound!”

“While this is by no means what I envisioned or idea, it definitely makes me see the impact that the sessions with you, Astrid, have had over the course of time. I remember more than one time where I went into the hour with a feeling I can best describe as "foggy" and came out of it with a renewed sense of what I actually felt like. Your capacity as a listener, an explorer, and an individual lies in the feeling of connection, guidance, and mirroring things with a great sense of sensitivity. Thank you so much for that. I will focus on the most profound lesson that I have learned--which is that the safety and care that can come with coaching is something that is ever evolving and needs watering like a plant, also afterwards. Any upward trend to me is deeply linked to authenticity and true self, and in our sessions the safety aspect was very crucial from the beginning and received a lot of focus and understanding from you. Not once did I feel abandoned or overtaken, and as someone that strives for and struggles with balance currently, I appreciate your organic approach a lot. In closing: since coaching is often connected to breathing too,I feel that altogether I really managed how to pause, rewind and breathe in a different way.”

Coaching has been the very beginning of a journey to start to understand my brain. The realisation that it is a lifetime of learning is initially disappointing and then gets more interesting.

LEVEL ONE

Recognising that it is different, discovering its intricacies and how to nurture it rather than fight it.

Being able to ‘call it’ before you do it, or to prepare colleagues for how you need to do things without feeling inadequate has been an astonishing thing to begin to learn.

Recognising the behaviour of your brain, why it is brilliant, and when to give it a rest. And how not to feel guilty.

Recognising the importance of empathy, but that sometimes it is too strong and not needed. You don’t have to listen to / heal / fix / nurture everyone.

“Astrid is ace. I recently went through her introductory course and learned so much. Astrid is extremely knowledgeable about ADHD, very friendly and helpful, with no question left unanswered or too minor. I would recommend Astrid wholeheartedly. Cheers Astrid!”
